Description
More advanced features including starter logic and logic function blocks result in an all-encompassing relay, which, coupled with its communication options, make the NewCode relay an ideal solution for plant protection and automation. The NewCode relay comes standard with 7 field inputs,4 relay outputs, RTC time and date stamped 1200 events and the last 30 faults in addition the relay can power the following expansion modules via the integrated T Bus connection backplane mounted within the din rail on to which the modules clip and are secured. Expansion modules are a 8 x Input 4 x output as well as a dual 4 to 20 milliamp loop module 2 x input 2 x output loops,a fully configurable, temperature sensing module with 4 x 3 wire sensors configurable as PT100,PT100,PTC and NTC (5K) a 96 mm square panel mounted MMI with start and stop pushbuttons and a 4 x 20 display of settings and actual values provide maintenance personnel with all information on the MCC cubicle door
The NewElec NewCode front-end configuration software provides configuration and a recording feature enabling the recording of all motor load current, voltages and status of field inputs exported as a csv file as well as measurement and display of harmonics displayed in FFT format up to the 9th harmonic. NewCode front-end configuration software has been found to be invaluable to assist performance measurement and commissioning processes. The NewCode motor protection relay can be used as a standalone electronic motor protection relay or as part of an automated process communicating to a PLC via Profibus, Modbus RTU, ModEther ,Profinet or other popular communication protocols.
The NewCode motor control relay is equipped with 7 digital inputs accepting field supply voltages from 24 to 220V A.C. or D.C. and 4 potential free C/O contacts, all of which are programmable.
The NewCode relay is an ISO 9001:2000 compliant, locally designed and manufactured three phase electronic motor protection relay.
The relay is fully configurable with the aid of free front-end software or a man-machine interface unit (MMI).
