MA Series Relays

The NewElec MA motor protection and control relay provides thermal overload class 3 to class 35 (ANSI 49RMS), overcurrent (ANSI 50/51), unbalanced current (ANSI 46), breaker failure (ANSI 50F),3 x PTC inputs (ANSI 23), Earth Leakage , Earth Fault (ANSI 64) and Short Circuit protection(ANSI 51), Load loss protection ( ANSI 37), starts per hour (ANSI 66), over and under voltage protection (ANSI 59/27) and voltage symmetry are all features available through the range 5 to 250 amp. The integrated C.T. Block also includes the Earth Leakage Core Balance C.T. Indication LEDs address the needs of maintenance personnel involved in fault finding, while the free NewElec front-end software provides configuration and a recording feature enabling the recording of all motor load current, voltages and status of field inputs exported as a csv file to assist performance and commissioning processes. Used as either a standalone electronic motor protection relay or as part of an automated process communicating to a PLC, the MA motor control relay is equipped with 5 digital inputs accepting field supply voltages from 24 to 220V A.C. or D.C. and 4 potential free C/O contacts, 2 of which are programmable.
